Sandie Springer Stables - Services

Sandie Springer Stables is a full service hunter, jumper, equitation training facility, dedicated to meeting its customers needs in every way. Our training programs are individually designed to the needs of each horse and rider. Whether you are just starting a green horse, or you are already competiting in the show ring, we have a program for you.

If you are not a horse owner and you are interested in learning how to ride, we also offer a riding school for the beginner rider through advanced for all ages. Our school horses are show quality and very safe. We offer private and group lessons throughout the week. We also offer full and half lease horses to lesson students.

Lessons 2015

One great advantage to taking lessons at Camelot is the monthly horse shows right at the barn. Having the shows at Camelot will save you hundreds of dollars in travelling expenses. To get to a typical show, trailering, grooming, stall, feed, shavings, and trainer fees can add up to over $200.00.

Safety always comes first and it is evidenced by our amazing school horses. Most of our school horses and ponys are retired from "A" competition but love helping new riders learn the ropes in their lessons as well as beginner classes at the horse shows.

We offer our students who are non-horse owners the opportunity to compete with school horses at beginner levels of horse show competition. We also offer horses for lease when available. All first-time students must wear a shoe with a heel on it. We supply hard hats for head protection. After your first lesson, we will go over proper lesson attire with you and show you where you can purchase it.

Evaluation Lesson	$45	First lesson for all students except those taking the beginner package.
Beginner Package	$140	The beginner package is designed for the first time rider between the ages of 3 and 5. The package includes four 30-minute private lessons.
Novice Lesson	$50	Child or Adult walk, trot, canter lesson. Approximately 45 minutes. This lesson can have up to 2 riders.
Novice Package	$360	2 semi-private lessons a week. Must be paid in full at the first of the month. All lesson must be completed within that month.
Group	$60	Group lessons consist of no more than 4 riders. Approximately 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours. To ride in a group lesson, you must be able to navigate your horse around the ring safely at a walk and trot.
Group package	$440	2 group lessons a week. Must be paid in full at the first of the month. All lessons must be completed within that month.
Own Horse	$45	If you are just boarding at Camelot and you take a lesson on your own horse. Or Trailer Ins
Show Ride	$50	To borrow a lesson horse for a horse show at Camelot.
THERE IS A 24 HOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE FOR ALL LESSONS OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE LESSON MISSED.
